Fall 2020 Capstone

As an American Studies major I completed my capstone in the fall of 2020. My capstone: “Who is ‘America’s Best Idea’ For? Race, Class, and the Grand Canyon National Park” explores the history of tourism in the Grand Canyon and its impact on local Indigenous communities. I connect this history with how people visit the canyon today and who is not visiting the site and why.
