Amy Hernandez

Amy is from Mystic, Connecticut, and identifies as Afro-Latina. She is of Dominican and Puerto Rican descent. Amy’s early experiences in the outdoors come from her parents taking her to swimming holes and waterfalls, participating and being one with the environment. Amy volunteers with Latino Outdoors as an outings and chapter leader in the Greater Hartford Region in Connecticut. She programs events such as hikes for local communities.
